Privacy
What this site keeps
- Marks you put up: each sticker or drawing, where it sits on the machine, and when it went up.
- A scrambled form of your IP address, used to apply the daily limits and to count reports fairly. The site stores a keyed hash, not the address itself, and clears it after 30 days.
- A wall pass cookie (
wall_pass), set after the automated check so you can add marks. It lasts 24 hours and is needed for the wall to work. - Reports: which mark was reported, why, and a hash of the reporter's IP. They are deleted after 90 days.
- Marks taken down are deleted 30 days after removal.
In your browser only
The site remembers whether you hid the marks, your own recent marks (so you can take one back for 10 minutes), and when your wall pass runs out. None of this leaves your device.
Visitor analytics
We use PostHog to understand how people use the machine. It records:
- the pages you open, the buttons and keys you press, and how long you stay;
- your browser, device type and screen size, and the page that sent you here;
- an approximate location (city and country) worked out from your IP address;
- a random visitor ID, kept in a cookie and in your browser's storage (both named
ph_…_posthog), so that your visits can be counted together.
Analytics goes through this site (felislafleur.art/relay), so your browser does not contact PostHog directly. The site passes on your IP address for the location estimate, and never your wall pass. Your screen is not recorded. PostHog stores the data in the United States. Clearing this site's cookies and storage gives you a new visitor ID.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, this site does not load analytics at all.
Advertising
No advertising trackers run on this site today. If we add any, for example to show our ads to past visitors on Instagram, they will load only after you accept them in a banner, and this page will name each one first.
Not collected
Your name, email address or payment details. No third-party fonts.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare hosts the site. Cloudflare Turnstile runs a quick check that you are a person before you add or report a mark, and processes information about your browser to do it. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum and privacy policy.
Your choices
You can ask for any mark to be removed, yours or one about you, by writing to look@felislafleur.art. You can hide all marks on your screen with "Hide marks". To ask what analytics data we hold about your visits, or to have it deleted, write to the same address.
